The Greatest Salesman

I just finished reading The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino and thought I would share some highlights from it.

1. I will have love in my heart and I will succeed.

2.  I will persist until I succeed. I will persist and win! One step at a time is not too difficult to achieve.

3.  I am nature's greatest miracle.  I will capitalize my differences and promote it to the fullest.  I will not make vain attempts to imitate others.  I will place my uniqueness on display. I am valuable. I have unlimited potential. I am here for a purpose. My discouragements are opportunities to improve.

4.  I will live each day as if it were my last.

5.  Today I will be master of my emotions.  I will bring joy and enthusiasm, brightness and laughter to everyone I meet. 

Failure is man's inability to reach his goals in life, whatever they may be.  Weak is he who permits his thoughts to control his actions; strong is he who forces his actions to control his thoughts.

6. I will laugh at the world. I will laugh at myself.  I will remain too busy to be sad.  Only laughter and happiness can I truly become a success.

7.  Today I will multiply my value a hundredfold.   I will set goals for the day, week, month, year, and my life.  To surpass the deeds of others is unimportant; to surpass my own deeds is all!

8.  I will ACT NOW!!  Procrastination is born of fear.  I will always act without hesitation.  Only action determines my value.  To multiply my value I will multiply my actions.  Success will not wait!

9.  I will pray - for guidance. Never pray for material things. Pray to be shown the way to acquire things that we need.  Pray for God to guide me so that I may acquire ability equal to my opportunities.
