Weddings

I am still booking weddings for 2011. However, you would need to contact me early to see if I am available. My summers are full with sports. Please contact me for details....

I also want to add that I have been photographing weddings since 2004 when I began my business and  have trained at least 3 people in my business with wedding photography.  I have good business experience and care about your special day! :)

I also provide bridal portraiture scheduled either before or after your special day - I've included images in that album. Take a look :)

 

Weddings...behind the scenes....Jan 2, 2009

On Jan 2, I had the true blessing of photographing a very special wedding of my dear friend, Susan Peugh. Susan and I go back to when we were drum majors at ICC (IJC at the time) in 1988 - 1989. She taught me not only the ropes at ICC and band, but set a tremendous Christian example for me to follow.  We parted our separate ways, but turned full circle the day of her wedding. I was thrilled to be able to capture special details and moments for she and David that day.  

 

There will be more images to come - but wanted others to see what goes behind the scenes at a typical wedding that I photograph.   

I typically arrive at a wedding 3 hours ahead of the "appointed" time to photograph the bride getting ready, friends hugging, groomsmen meeting, and the first moments of the bride and groom seeing each other for the first time. These moments are very special and we are very proud to be a part of them.  When photographing weddings and other events, I try to place myself in the shoes of the client and determine what they would want to have to look back through years to come. I'm grateful to have had wedding and childbirth experiences to be able to relate to my clients in those areas.  During the ceremony and reception,  I capture everything I can possibly contain on my digi cards - from a hug to a wedding ring placed in the Bible, to a tear, and a laugh. I offer a very different style of wedding photography in a journalistic approach that most people are drawn to in the present.

McGraw wedding in Jackson

I traveled to the Jackson area to photograph the McGraw wedding. This would be the really "first" long distance wedding to shoot and it was well worth the distance! We wish the very best to the newlyweds! 

 

 

   

 

     

 

Comer/Youree Wedding. . .

What an absolutely beautiful wedding at Manning Gardens in Guntown, MS.  This fairytale wedding was complete with a horse drawn carriage!  We really enjoyed capturing the moments of the day and hope that Ben and Carra will enjoy them for years to come! I wish you the very best in your new life together!

What a beautiful night for a beautiful and classy wedding! Shields/Helton Wedding

I was so excited to be a part of your special day. It was a hot, but beautiful day outdoors - your colors and flowers were absolutely beautiful! Your wedding ceremony was as sweet as it could be! You were made for each other - you fit each other so well! It's special! I especially enjoyed the slideshow presentation at your reception - I learned more about both of you that day! Doyle Wedding

What a beautiful wedding and a hot day at the Magnolias in Aberdeen! This is my second wedding to photograph at the Magnolias and it was very beautiful!  Adam and Leah had an outdoor wedding topped with a butterfly release, which was a first for me! I chased a couple of butterflies after the release and was able to find a couple! ha  Adam and Leah just complement each other so well.  Everyone was very friendly and her day was very special.  I was impressed by how cool Leah was - she was great and I think she totally enjoyed the day!   I'm sure that everyone was tired of being out in the heat, but I think it was all worth it from looking at the photos.  Adam and Leah, I wish you all the very best and I hope you have a wonderful life together! Thanks for letting me be a special and memorable part of your special day!
